Sometimes, something turns up which is just so good, you think ‘why do I bother?’. ‘I want my hat back’ is a kids book and is just so bloody good in every department (even the strangely nihilistic sentiment seems fitting), that whatever job we start from now on will have me thinking ‘What would Jon Klassen do?’

We co-hosted (with our Pig Guide hat on) The inaugural Bath Good Food Awards last night (3/10/11). 200 of Bath’s restaurant glitterati were in attendance and a good time was had by all – here’s the Guildhall undergoing a suitably opulent makeover just before the event started …

Friday 29th April wasn’t such a happy day at TGOS … ceiling fell in and we were flooded. Amazingly all the computers were saved. Back to normal (ish).
