We publish a free quarterly magazine for the Bristol Harbourside called Shipshape and an online what’s on and restaurant guide for Bath called The Pig. We distribute 10,000 copies of Shipshape throughout popular venues on the Harbourside and the magazine provides an insight into the unique heritage of this vibrant quarter. The Pig and its fortnightly e-zine PigOut provide visitors and Bathonians with a witty and relevant update of what’s hot and what’s not. In September 2009 and March 2010 we published two cookbooks for a pair of local charities. The books have been successful in raising the organisations’ profiles while simultaneously providing a welcome source of revenue.

We’ve always understood the value of well composed and compelling imagery, and photography has always been an integral part of what The Group of Seven offers – so much of what we do is reliant on both up-to-date and arresting imagery. The Group of Seven has always had strong ties with a number of local charities so when the opportunity arose in 2008 to play a more active role in one of the area’s best-respected organisations, we jumped at the chance. Off The Wall, which is supported by patron Midge Ure, is DHI’s service user magazine. Each week, we work with a group of service users to plan and publish the magazine. What started as an infrequent newsletter has developed into a professional-looking, well-written and valued bi-monthly publication distributed throughout B&NES, South Gloucestershire and Swindon.
