After launching Shipshape magazine in March we set to creating a bright and simple web presence. Essentially an online version of the magazine, Shipshapebristol.com will be updated on a monthly basis highlighting some of the best events around the harbourside. All of our feature content will be available online as will information on where to find the magazine, unique offers and details on the best ways to get around the area.

Monday, February 1st, 2010We’ve been working closely with a number of Harbourside establishments and businesses in bringing a new quarterly magazine to this unique cultural quarter. 10,000 copies are being distributed around the art centres, hotels, restaurants and visitor centres throughout the area, and we hope the magazine will give a campaigning voice to those who want to celebrate the area’s rich history. The Lowry
Friday, January 29th, 2010Salford Quay’s flagship community arts centre brings together a wide variety of performing and visual arts. We have worked closely with their marketing team over the last couple of years, producing bold and arresting print solutions for their ongoing dance seasons and childrens festivals as well handling advertising and promotions for touring shows. Recent commissions have included two Lowry-initiated branding projects – ‘Unlocking Salford Quays’ and ‘North West Dance’.

Tuesday, January 26th, 2010Owned by the same team as Welshback’s Glassboat and Spyglass, Clifton’s Lido has swiftly established itself as a one of Bristol’s foremost destinations. A combination of spa, restaurant and heated open-air pool, it’s success has been consolidated by strong brand management and innovative marketing solutions. TGOS continues to be involved in all areas of print and advertising.

Tuesday, January 26th, 2010TGOS has managed both digital and print marketing for Bristol institution Glassboat since the start of 2009. With a subtle modernisation of a much-loved brand we’ve introduced new formats and materials onsite and have been instrumental in the success of a number of ‘micro-festivals’ staged alongside the boat. We also work closely with the company’s neighbouring restaurant, Spyglass.
DHI
Tuesday, January 26th, 2010The Drugs and Homeless Initiative – who celebrated 10 year’s of service in 2009 – enlisted TGOS to develop their existing brand. Since then we’ve been involved in all aspects of DHI’s print publishing. Some of the projects we’ve worked on have been a 10th anniversary annual report, a service user poetry book, handbooks, exhibition displays and re-launching their substantial online presence. Colston Hall
Tuesday, January 26th, 2010TGOS has had a long relationship with Bristol’s Colston Hall and – since rebranding in 2009 – they have called on us to do the bulk of their print marketing. From magazine and online advertising, to e-shots and producing a programme for David Attenborough’s ‘Nature’s Great Events’, we continue to provide a bespoke design and publishing service for this much-loved local landmark.

Tuesday, January 26th, 2010After working closely with Bristol City Council Arts & Culture to relaunch the Harbour Festival programme and website in 2008, TGOS won the contract to take the festival marketing into 2010. A livelier brand, dynamic editorial content, new print formats and an interactive web presence were all on the menu for 2009. 2010 presents another challenging financial climate, but with an emphasis on digital marketing and significant changes to the Festival’s layout, plans are already afoot to develop the brand further through onsite signage and festival sponsorship.

Monday, January 25th, 2010Having worked closely with local charity the Drugs and Homeless Initiative on their print marketing, TGOS relaunched their website in 2009. Covering Bath & North East Somerset, Swindon and South Gloucestershire, the new site provides both accessible information for the charity’s many service users and an important online resource for their staff. With CMS areas managed by DHI and a dedicated area for service user magazine ‘Off The Wall’, dhi-online.org.uk has become a powerful campaigning tool for this important organisation.
