A monthy e-zine sent to a database of around 2500 individuals within the industry highlights movers and shakers, the big law issues, recruitment and exclusive offers from some of the area’s top restaurants.

After developing strong ties with NHS Bristol during the 2009 Bristol Harbour Festival, TGOS has continued to offer a digital marketing service – alongside advertising production, brand development and print. Presented with a demanding schedule and limited brand guidelines, TGOS built the choosewellbristol.nhs.uk site at the end of 2009, and it continues to be both an important public resource and useful information tool for NHS Bristol.

TGOS has provided support for the Forestry Commission’s Bristol design studio for a number of years now, and we continue to be the studio of choice for the print marketing for Westonbirt Arboretum. In addition, we are currently managing national advertising for a series of music concerts around the country and handle the design and print for a number of other FC centres including Bedgebury Pinetum in Kent.

TGOS has looked after the print marketing for this long-standing Bath festival – now in its 19th year. Despite budget limitations and challenging production schedules, the festival continues to be a success. 2009 enjoyed increased ticket sales and – with a dynamic advertising campaign through a series of striking posters – increased visibility city-wide.

TGOS has been involved with marketing the Bristol Harbour Festival for a number of years. After launching a dedicated website in 2008, the festival’s online presence was greatly enhanced in 2009. With over 50 pages of content, picture galleries and up-to-date festival news, it’s become the essential resource for any festival-goer wishing to make the most of the weekend. With over 60,000 visitors in 2009, fulfilling the site’s commercial potential and adding interactive visitor information are the priorities for 2010.

The Bath Thrifty Cookery Book

TGOS teamed up with the Drugs and Homeless Initiative to produce the ‘Bath Thrifty Cookery Book’ in celebration of their 10th anniversary. Incorporating 30 recipes from some of the charity’s service users and – courtesy of the Pig Guide – Bath’s best chef’s, the book was launched at Gascoyne Place in October 2009. The book proved an immediate success with sales exceeding 700 copies in the months running up to Christmas and it is now broadly available throughout Bath. Outlets include Waterstones, Toppings Booksellers and the Oldfield Park Bookshop and it can also be bought direct from the DHI website – dhi-online.org.uk.
