Content is never boring. We couldn’t agree more with 42 Group and were consequently delighted when they asked us to design and build a brand-new website to show off their wordsmithery.
First came a brand refresh, which hit all the anticipated touchpoints including brand marque, colour palette, illustrations and iconography, and a bespoke animation spelling out their services.
Then it was on to the web design. Driven by UX and dripping in their new branding, the website was designed to be WCAG 2.1 AA compliant to ensure customer satisfaction and search ranking hit the high notes. The client told us it was important for the website to feel creative and warm while still able to sell their key services. We mapped out various UX routes and workshopped a website hierarchy that gave us a bold structure within which we could deploy their lively branding.
It helped enormously that the client’s tone of voice was crystal clear. With these words ringing in our ears, we created a good-looking website that worked wonders with their tone of voice while also ticking accessibility boxes (a notoriously difficult task but one we overcame with aplomb).
